EGN's recent down time was due to switching hosting providers. After many issues over multiple different occasions with the last host, we've made the move a week or so earlier than expected. I apologize for the down time and am happy to welcome users back. This new host should provide more reliable uptime and a smoother hosting experience.

Okay guys in efforts to boost activity on EGN we are going to host our first ever refferal contest! Bringing members is hard enough, but getting people to participate is the real challenge. The user who can bring in the most new members will win a prize of 5 US dollars and the position of "Elite Member." The contest will be held according to a point system. Each member you reffer is worth one point. Keep in mind if you are able to reffer a new member who actually becomes an active contributor to EGN it counts as two points. If you plan on participating please PM with the following information.
1. Current refferal ammount.
2. Latest user you have reffered.
All the best,
EGN Staff

Easter is an important annual religious feast in the Christian liturgical year. In Christian belief, Jesus was resurrected from the dead three days after his crucifixion. Many Christian denominations celebrate this resurrection on Easter Day or Easter Sunday (also Resurrection Day or Resurrection Sunday), two days after Good Friday. The chronology of his death and resurrection is variously interperated to be between 26 and 36 AD.
Cultural elements, such as the Easter Bunny, have become part of the holiday's modern celebrations, and those aspects are often celebrated by many Christians and non-Christians alike. There are also some Christian denominations who do not celebrate Easter.
As with many other Christian dates, the celebration of Easter extends beyond the church. Since its origins, it has been a time of celebration and feasting and many Traditional Easter games and customs developed, such as Egg rolling, Egg tapping, Pace egging and Egg decorating. Today Easter is commercially important, seeing wide sales of greeting cards and confectionery such as chocolate Easter eggs, marshmallow bunnies, Peeps, and jelly beans. Even many non-Christians celebrate these aspects of the holiday while eschewing the religious aspects.
